According to the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), the detention occurred while receiving a bribe of one million soms.
The GKNB also noted that some employees of the procurement department of this municipal enterprise regularly extorted 10% of the total tender cost, creating artificial difficulties and delaying the transfer of funds for completed work.
Currently, measures are being taken to legally assess the actions of the municipal officials, as well as to identify other possible involved parties.
