The State Committee for National Security detained an employee of "Bishkektrans" while receiving a bribe of 1 million soms.

On January 19, employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) caught an employee of the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" red-handed while attempting to receive a bribe of 1 million soms. This incident occurred as part of the work of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

According to information provided by the state committee, some employees of the procurement department of this enterprise regularly demanded 10% of the tender amount, creating artificial obstacles and delaying the payment process for completed work.

As a result of the operational investigative actions, the detainee, known as "A.K.Sh.", was placed in the SCNS detention center.

Currently, work is underway to legally assess the actions of the municipal officials and to identify possible accomplices.
