The press service of the Osh region Internal Affairs Department reported that a service check of the internal service has been initiated regarding this incident. The final results of the checks will be assessed in accordance with the legislation.
“At the moment, no official conclusions have been made regarding this case,” the press service noted.
In accordance with the Law on Internal Affairs Bodies and the requirements of the disciplinary charter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, if the medical examination confirmed the employee's state of alcohol intoxication, he is subject to temporary suspension from official duties on the day of the incident. Such actions are considered a serious violation of discipline and serve as grounds for conducting a service investigation.
Typically, service checks take up to 30 days, and based on their results, disciplinary measures may be applied, including dismissal,” the official statement said.
