In one night, 27 drivers in a state of alcohol intoxication were identified in the Issyk-Kul region
According to the information received, on January 9, a raid called "Behind the Wheel" was organized to enhance road safety in the region. During the event, traffic safety service officers conducted checks on vehicles at the city entrances.
During the inspections, it became known that some drivers were in a state of alcohol intoxication, and individuals were also found operating vehicles without the necessary documents and driver's licenses. In accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, measures of responsibility were applied to the violators.
“Such events will continue with the aim of reducing the number of road traffic accidents, increasing driver responsibility, and ensuring the safety of citizens,” said representatives of the service.
