In the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, a local court made a ruling in the case of a man who, while under the influence of alcohol, contacted the police with an unusual complaint against U.S. President Donald Trump. The court imposed a fine of 1.23 million Uzbek soms, which is approximately $100, for making a knowingly false emergency call.

According to the investigation, the man called the Main Department of Internal Affairs and requested to file a complaint against Trump, claiming that he allegedly kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. The police officer who took the call advised him to visit the nearest station to complete the necessary paperwork; however, the accused did not show up.

At the court hearing, the defendant admitted his guilt and explained that he did not remember the circumstances of the call due to severe intoxication. He also noted that he was not aware of the possible consequences of his actions. As a result, the judge imposed a fine equivalent to three basic calculation amounts.
