The State Committee for National Security reported the detention of three police officers from the Uzgen District Department of Internal Affairs.

According to available information, on January 3, in the Uzgen district, the police officers exceeded their authority by unlawfully arresting two citizens and taking them to the Kurshab police station without completing the required legal procedural documents.

Subsequently, according to the agency, physical force was applied to the detainees, resulting in serious injuries to one of them, including a closed traumatic brain injury and cerebral edema.
