On March 16, 2026, in Bishkek, as a result of operational activities, employees of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan detained two suspects involved in organizing illegal migration: "A.M." and his accomplice "I.T.V."
During planned actions to combat illegal migration, facts of the production and sale of counterfeit medical certificates of form No. 086 were discovered, which allowed foreigners to extend their stay in Kyrgyzstan without the necessary medical examination.
According to information from the State Committee for National Security, the detained "A.M.", a citizen of Pakistan, was engaged in selling ready-made medical certificates to citizens of Pakistan and Bengali nationality, bypassing mandatory medical examinations. In this activity, he was assisted by a medical worker from the National Hospital, "I.T.V.".
During searches at the residences of "A.M." and the workplace of "I.T.V.", more than 160 counterfeit medical certificates intended for visa processing, which granted foreigners the right to stay in Kyrgyzstan, were discovered and seized.
It should be noted that due to the increase in cases of Nipah virus infection in South Asian countries, the absence of medical examinations for foreign citizens poses a serious threat to the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan, which is significant for national security.
The State Committee for National Security calls on foreign citizens to comply with the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic to avoid negative consequences.
Currently, activities are ongoing to identify other participants in the criminal scheme of illegal migration, as well as active work in this direction.
