Sadyr Japarov, the president of Kyrgyzstan, has appointed Kanatbek Chynybaev as the acting Minister of Emergency Situations.
His candidacy is set to be presented to the Jogorku Kenesh for approval as the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Previously, Urmat Shamyrcanov was relieved of his duties as head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations by the decision of S. Japarov.
