The Ministry of Energy reported on the progress of the construction of the Papan Hydroelectric Power Station
Currently, the construction of temporary access roads, which will stretch for 9.2 km to the site of the future station, is nearing completion. The construction of a residential complex for workers is also approaching completion.
In addition, work continues on the design and land allocation for a 110 kV overhead power line. At the same time, preparations for the necessary permitting documents are underway, including approvals for drilling and blasting works that will be required for the creation of the diversion tunnel.
Furthermore, a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) report has been developed, which allowed participation in the Green Energy Fund competition, resulting in the signing of a land lease agreement for the construction of the hydropower plant.
