The strategic decision of President Sadyr Japarov to establish the State Agency for Civil Aviation under the Cabinet of Ministers has opened new horizons for this field.
Kasymaliev emphasized that from 2021 to 2025, there has been a 52% increase in passenger traffic on domestic and international flights, and the number of completed flights has increased by 53%. According to ICAO audits in 2023-2024, the country's aviation system complies with international standards, and the level of aviation safety has reached 85.76%, which may lead to Kyrgyzstan's removal from the EU Safety List.
