At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to international affairs, defense, security, and migration, a draft law on the ratification of the Temporary Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its members, on one side, and Mongolia, on the other, was reviewed and approved in the second reading. This deal was signed on June 27, 2025, in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov presented information about the project.

Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva raised an important issue regarding sanitary and technical barriers within the EAEU, noting that Russia does not accept certificates of conformity issued by laboratories in Kyrgyzstan.

“In practice, this limits the competitiveness of Kyrgyz products and complicates access to the markets of EAEU countries,” she emphasized.

The deputy also noted the need to modernize laboratories to bring them in line with EAEU standards.
