At a meeting held by the First Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Aibek Matkerimov, with Indira Moldogazieva from the German Development Bank (KfW) and Kerez Kelishova from the consulting company GITEC-IGIP, issues related to the implementation of the SAMEDIS digital inventory system for medical equipment were discussed. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Health.
During the discussion, the stages of implementing the sectoral program "Healthcare V," funded by Germany, were reviewed. The participants of the meeting also emphasized the importance of technical support, data updating, and ensuring the stable operation of the system in healthcare institutions.
As part of this event, 150 printers and 1000 cartridges were handed over, aimed at supporting the workflow of medical institutions and facilitating the digital accounting of equipment.
To date, training sessions for staff have been conducted in all planned medical institutions, and the system has been successfully launched. The inventory of medical equipment continues in the regions, with Bishkek and the Chui region having already completed the main stage and moved on to regular data updates.
In addition, staff responsible for working with the database and quality control of the entered information have been trained. In the future, the accounting of medical equipment will be carried out by the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia."
“The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic highly appreciates the support provided by the German Development Bank (KfW) and the consulting company GITEC-IGIP. Our cooperation contributes to the resilience and efficiency of the national healthcare system,” emphasized Aibek Matkerimov.
The next step will be the organization of technical support and further development of digital solutions.
