Vice Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov held a meeting with the representative of the German Development Bank (KfW) Indira Moldogazieva and the project manager from the consulting company GITEC-IGIP Kerez Kelishova. The main topic of discussion was the implementation of a digital accounting system for medical equipment, known as SAMEDIS.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the meeting reviewed current achievements within the framework of the sectoral program "Healthcare V," which is being implemented with the support of the Federal Republic of Germany. Issues of technical support, information updating, and sustainable functioning of the system in healthcare institutions were also discussed.

During the event, equipment was handed over, including 150 printers and 1000 cartridges, which will be used to support work processes in medical institutions and maintain digital accounting.

Currently, training workshops for staff have been conducted in all planned medical institutions, and the system has been successfully launched. In the regions, the process of inventorying medical equipment continues, with healthcare organizations in Bishkek and the Chui region having already completed the main stage and begun regular data updates.

Additionally, further training has been conducted for staff working with databases and monitoring the quality of the information entered. In the future, the accounting of medical equipment will be carried out by the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy."

The next step in the project implementation involves organizing technical support and further developing digital solutions.
