At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of constitutional legislation, state structure, and local self-government, the candidacies of several key leaders were approved.
During the meeting, the deputies supported the appointments of the following candidates:
- Jumgalbek Kumaroich Shabdanbekov as the chairman of the State Committee for National Security;
- Urmatbek Muslimovich Shamyurkanov as the Minister of Emergency Situations;
- Akyl Toktobaev as the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision;
- Talantbek Osmonbaevich Soltobaev as the Minister of Transport and Communications.
