The wooden poles scheduled for replacement were installed in the 1960s and 70s and have long exceeded their allowable service life.
The replacement work will be carried out in the following districts:
- Ak-Suisky RES – 258 poles,
- Karakolsky RES – 260 poles,
- Jeti-Oguzsky RES – 263 poles,
- Tonsky RES – 543 poles,
- Cholpon-Ata RES – 314 poles,
- Tyupsky RES – 229 poles,
- Balakchinsky RES – 282 poles.
The installation of reinforced concrete poles is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2026. The production of new poles will be established at the enterprise's factory in Balakchy, which has been operational since 2017.
It is worth noting that in 2025, more than 1500 reinforced concrete poles were already installed in the region.
These works are aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply and reducing the number of emergency situations.
