According to the ministry's information, the wooden poles that are to be replaced were installed in the 1960s and 70s and have long exceeded their service life, being in an emergency condition.
The work will be carried out in 2026 in the following distribution electrical networks (RES):
- Ak-Suysky RES – 258 poles
- Karakolsky RES – 260 poles
- Jeti-Oguzsky RES – 263 poles
- Tonsky RES – 543 poles
- Cholpon-Ata RES – 314 poles
- Tyupsky RES – 229 poles

It is important to note that in 2025, more than 1500 reinforced concrete poles were successfully installed, which significantly improved the infrastructure in several settlements in the region.
In addition, the new reinforced concrete poles that will be installed in 2026 will be produced at a facility that has its own workshop for the production of reinforced concrete products.
