The Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Kohir Rasulzoda, and the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, visited an eco-technology plant in Bishkek that produces electricity from solid household waste.

During the visit, both leaders familiarized themselves with the technological processes related to waste processing and reviewed the environmental solutions implemented at the plant.

Representatives of the plant demonstrated information about its capacities, waste management system, and the process of generating electricity resulting from waste disposal.

It was noted that the use of modern waste disposal technologies contributes to reducing negative impacts on the environment, improving the sanitary situation in the city, and promoting the principles of a "green" economy.

The leaders emphasized the importance of experience exchange and joint development in the field of sustainable environmentally friendly technologies, effective waste management, and increasing energy efficiency.

Kohir Rasulzoda noted that this plant is a good example of modern recycling solutions and expressed interest in the project.

This visit to the eco-technology plant marked the concluding event of the working trip of the Tajik delegation to Kyrgyzstan.

It is worth mentioning that on February 13, Kohir Rasulzoda's working visit to Kyrgyzstan took place at the invitation of Adylbek Kasymaliev, during which the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Tajik Intergovernmental Council was held.
