The President noted that as a result of similar views with the Tajik leader, it was possible to reach consensus on important areas of joint work and establish benchmarks for future interaction.

He also announced the successful holding of the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, which should become a significant institution for the effective implementation of the set tasks.

In addition, Japarov pointed out the need for joint efforts in the fight against transnational threats, including terrorism, religious extremism, drug trafficking, and organized crime.

In this context, he emphasized mutual support within the framework of the SCO regarding the establishment of an Anti-Drug Center in Dushanbe and a Center for Combating International Organized Crime in Bishkek.

Kohir Rasulzoda, for his part, thanked for the warm welcome and traditional Tajik hospitality extended to their delegation.

The Prime Minister also expressed admiration for the significant transformations taking place in Kyrgyzstan, which, in his opinion, testify to the creative energy of the people under Japarov's leadership.

Rasulzoda noted the high economic indicators of Kyrgyzstan, which hold leading positions in the region.

He added that thanks to the trusting dialogue between the presidents and the demonstrated political will, Kyrgyz-Tajik relations have reached a new level of cooperation, and the signing of the State Border Agreement has become an important step towards strengthening friendship and mutual trust.

Sadyr Japarov agreed with the expressed opinions and confirmed his commitment to further strengthening ties between the countries.
