
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need to create an effective laboratory service management system, implement international quality standards and digital technologies for monitoring and control, as well as the optimal use of laboratory resources and improving the accuracy of test results.
Also among the topics discussed were aspects of improving the medical waste management system, including increasing state control and introducing modern technologies for their disinfection and disposal. Experts invited to the meeting shared their recommendations on the structure and standards of laboratory operations and the medical waste management system.
The Minister noted that the development of the laboratory service and effective management of medical waste are key aspects of state policy in the field of healthcare, which directly affects disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the protection of public health.
As a result of the meeting, relevant departments were instructed to further improve the identified areas and to implement the assigned tasks in stages.
