The Ministry of Health will create a national laboratory service

At a meeting chaired by the Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov, key aspects of forming a national laboratory service and improving the medical waste management system were discussed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The main topics raised at the meeting included:

creating an effective management structure for the laboratory service;
implementing international quality standards;
utilizing digital technologies for monitoring and control;
optimizing the use of laboratory capacities;
increasing the accuracy of laboratory test results.

Additionally, during the meeting, aspects of improving medical waste management were considered, including strengthening state control and applying modern technologies for disinfection and disposal. Experts invited to the meeting shared their recommendations on the structure and standardization of laboratory activities and medical waste management.

The Minister emphasized that the development of the laboratory service and effective management of medical waste are priority areas of state policy in healthcare, which directly impact disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the protection of citizens' health.
