The Ministry noted that this transfer was made possible thanks to the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). As part of this initiative, an asphalt concrete plant with a capacity of 35 tons per hour was also established in the Batken region.
The ceremony for the transfer of equipment was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Hirano Ryuichi, the Resident Representative of JICA in Kyrgyzstan, Nishigato Kotaro, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Beknazar Bazaraliev, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Batken Region, Aibek Shamenov, as well as representatives of local authorities.
