In the Batken region, in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, a kindergarten building has once again become state property. This was reported by the State National Security Committee (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan.
It has become known that in 1996, a kindergarten building with an area of 533.3 square meters and a land plot of 2200 square meters were unlawfully transferred into private ownership of JSC “Nur-KM,” which occurred in violation of the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. UP-37, adopted in 1995. This decree explicitly prohibited the sale of social infrastructure facilities by state and privatized enterprises, even if they have a state share in the authorized capital, if such facilities are on their balance sheet or were transferred free of charge during the privatization process with the condition of maintaining the order of their use.
After conducting operational measures, the owner of the kindergarten, realizing the illegality of their ownership, agreed to return the building and land plot to the state.
The GKNB emphasizes that work to identify and return unlawfully alienated social facilities will continue.
