According to Ulysmedia.kz, "net" sales of yuan in exchange offices show positive dynamics in 17 regions, with Almaty leading with an indicator of over 1 billion tenge. Astana and the Karaganda region follow with results of 141.5 million and 138.2 million tenge, respectively. At the same time, negative sales volumes are observed in the Zhetysu (minus 29.1 million tenge), Almaty (minus 1.5 million tenge), and Turkestan (minus 300 thousand tenge) regions.
The average official exchange rate of the Chinese yuan last year was 72.6 tenge, which is 11.2% higher than in 2024.
