The ruble and dollar have appreciated, the yuan has set a new record. Currency exchange rates as of January 16.

According to data from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in Bishkek, the official rates of the dollar, Russian ruble, and Chinese yuan have increased, while the euro rate has decreased. The Kazakh tenge remained at the same level.
US Dollar:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 87.4489 soms (increase of 0.001 percent).
- Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 87.34 soms, selling — 87.8 soms.
Euro:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 101.7074 soms (decrease of 0.14 percent).
- Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 101.12 soms, selling — 102.11 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 1.1155 soms (increase of 0.6 percent).
- Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 1.104 soms, selling — 1.134 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 0.1712 soms (no change).
- Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 0.1486 soms, selling — 0.1816 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 12.5478 soms (increase of 0.05 percent). This is already the third record for the value of the yuan since the beginning of 2026.
- Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 12.7 soms, selling — 13.5 soms.
