The Ministry of Education in Kyrgyzstan reported an incident involving the use of physical force by a physical education teacher at the Talyk Akun school, located in the village of Chyrak, in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region.
This incident is considered an act of violence against children and indicates a serious violation of professional ethics by the teacher.
In response to the incident, the Ministry of Education, together with the relevant departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has already begun an investigation into all circumstances surrounding this event.
According to reports, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education dated January 19, 2026, No. 13/1, comprehensive preventive measures are being conducted across the country. The department also urges to refrain from generalizations based on this case.
Additionally, explanatory work is being carried out involving educators, students, and parents.
