Violence and Violation of Ethics. Ministry of Education on the Incident at the School in Issyk-Kul

An incident occurred at a school located in the village of Chyrak in the Jeti-Oguz district, which has been classified as violence against students. The Ministry of Education condemned this case, emphasizing serious violations of professional ethics by the educator.

Earlier, the police confirmed information that a physical education teacher had used physical force against students of this educational institution.

The Ministry of Education, in conjunction with the territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, quickly began investigating all circumstances of the incident. Necessary investigative actions are currently underway.

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education dated January 19, 2026, under number 13/1, large-scale preventive measures are being implemented across the country. The Ministry urged to refrain from hasty conclusions about the situation based on a single incident.

Additionally, explanatory work is being conducted involving educators, parents, and students. The Republican Institute for Advanced Teacher Training has been tasked with intensifying explanatory work on issues of ethics in teaching activities.

It is worth noting that such incidents are not isolated. Recently, a teacher in Bishkek was dismissed for hitting a student in class.
