On January 30, the parliamentary group "Adilet Kyrgyzstan" held a meeting where they heard the report from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic on the current state of construction and reconstruction of roads.

The First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Beknazar Bazaraliev, reported that the plan approved by the ministry has been fully implemented. He noted that initially, by the beginning of 2025, it was planned to asphalt 1,092 km of roads; however, by the end of the current year, work has actually been carried out on 1,606 km, of which 1,545 km have already been asphalted.

Currently, 13 significant infrastructure projects related to road construction are being implemented in the country.

During the discussion of the issues, the deputies expressed concern about the quality of road construction. Deputy Ismanali Joroev emphasized that many of the projects are financed through loans, which makes it necessary to strengthen control over the execution of works. Deputy Suyunbek Omurzakov added that the issue of asphalting the Myrzake—Kara-Kulja—Alaikuu road should be considered within the framework of the republican budget.

As a result of the discussion, the information presented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications was taken into account.
