Restrictions on the Import of Animals from India Introduced in Kyrgyzstan
The Nipah virus is a serious zoonotic infection capable of being transmitted from animals to humans. In this regard, the Veterinary Service strongly recommends that citizens avoid purchasing animal products without veterinary accompanying documents and of unclear origin.
The situation is under constant control by the relevant authorities, who are monitoring the developments.
