The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, at a recent meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs board, highlighted several factors contributing to the increase in the state budget, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In his speech, Kasymaliev noted that the economy of Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating positive changes. For example, the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country has grown from 8.3 billion dollars in 2020 to more than 22.6 billion dollars by 2025.

Among the main factors contributing to this growth, he pointed out the improvement in tax administration. Thus, tax revenues have increased approximately fourfold, customs revenues sixfold, and non-tax revenues have risen 8-9 times.

Additionally, Kasymaliev indicated the growth of activity in sectors such as construction, trade, services, agriculture, and industry. The significant impact on the economy was also influenced by the rise in global gold prices — revenues from the operation of "Kumtor" amounted to more than 5 billion dollars.

During the discussion, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the importance of developing practical solutions in the field of multimodal transportation, digital logistics, and transport connectivity. He also stressed the need to implement projects in the field of wind and solar energy, small hydropower plants, as well as attracting investments in large tourism projects.
