He specified that the textile sector produced about 4 billion soms, the garment industry — over 20 billion soms, and the leather and footwear industry — more than 600 million soms.
“In 2024, 102 enterprises were opened. For 2025, following the instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers, it was planned to launch 100 new facilities; however, in the end, 119 enterprises were put into operation,” added Karasartov.
Among the successful projects, the second phase of launching the textile cluster in Tokmok, the opening of a textile factory in Kara-Balta, and the creation of about 400 jobs at a new enterprise in Osh can be highlighted.
For 2026, a list of projects has already been prepared and approved, within which it is planned to introduce another 100 industrial enterprises.
