Deputy - Ministry of Economic Development: What measures are being taken to bring sewing enterprises out of the shadows?

- During the meeting held on January 16, 2026, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Bolotbek Borbiev emphasized the importance of exports for domestic producers during the discussion within the "Ala-Too" group.

He recalled that the idea of creating a logistics center was proposed back in 2023; however, according to him, this issue has not been resolved to this day.

“You claim that construction is scheduled for 2028. But given the active growth of marketplaces, why is the decision being delayed?” he asked the government representatives.

Minister of Economy Bakyt Sydykov noted that in October, one of the marketplaces approached the ministry with a proposal to build a logistics center, after which work in this direction was intensified.

Additionally, Borbiev raised the issue of garment enterprises that continue to operate in the "shadow" economy and asked what measures are being taken for their legalization.

In response, the Ministry of Economy reported that tax incentives have already been provided to garment producers, informational events are being held, and necessary support is being offered. Since October, fairs for participants in the garment industry have also been organized — these measures are ongoing at present.
