A logistics center for Wildberries will be built in Kyrgyzstan.

Important negotiations regarding the construction of a large logistics center for the marketplace Wildberries are taking place in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Economy and Commerce, during a meeting of the parliamentary group "Ala-Too," where current issues in the textile industry were discussed.

The minister also answered questions from parliamentarians regarding the problems faced by tailors and the import of goods into Russia. Sydykov noted that now entrepreneurs are required to pay import VAT on the territory of the Russian Federation.

He added that active discussions with Wildberries are currently underway, but the details of the project cannot yet be disclosed. "We plan to build a logistics center covering 28 hectares. The investment agreement is nearing completion, and the coordination process will begin soon. This will be a separate logistics center for Wildberries. The project is significant, and 6,700 jobs will be created just in the delivery sector," the minister specified.

According to him, the completion of construction is planned by 2028.

Earlier, Azamat Kerimbek uulu, the director of the "Legprom" association, reported that in 2023, the owner of Wildberries, during her visit to Kyrgyzstan, requested a plot of land for this logistics center.
