A 50% discount on contractual education has been proposed, but the issue of financing needs further development.
On March 30, the Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development of the Jogorku Kenesh supported a draft resolution to provide state educational benefits to children of mothers awarded the 'Batyr Ene' order. This decision was made taking into account various proposals.
A group of deputies led by Meder Chotonov initiated this project. Chotonov emphasized that the document aims to support families, motherhood, and childhood, as well as to ensure equal access to educational opportunities.
According to the draft, a 50% discount on contractual education in universities is proposed, regardless of their organizational and legal form.
However, Deputy Minister of Finance Ulugbek Kalenderov noted that financing this initiative is only possible through grants to avoid additional pressure on the country's budget.
The deputies emphasized the importance of the social component of this project and suggested refining the financing mechanisms in collaboration with government agencies.
