More than 5,000 people are involved in the construction of the railway between China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

Recently, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov held a meeting with representatives of the company implementing the "China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan" railway project. This was reported by the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan.
Also participating in the discussion were the heads of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, as well as representatives of the national company "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" and the joint railway company of the project.

As stated, active work is underway at the construction sites: more than 5,000 people and over 5,600 units of equipment are engaged in the project. The main efforts are focused on tunnel excavation, earthworks, and bridge construction. Currently, more than 3.5 million cubic meters of earthworks have been completed.

During the meeting, Erlis Akunbekov emphasized the need to comply with all safety measures and environmental standards. The Cabinet of Ministers stressed that the project will be supported in all aspects, and necessary coordination will be ensured for its successful implementation.
