The Ministry of Agriculture joined the discussion on the railway project "Kyrgyzstan-China-Uzbekistan"
At a recent meeting, the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov, discussed with representatives of the company implementing the "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" railway project. According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, the main project materials for construction are already prepared, and the clarification of drawings and obtaining approvals are currently ongoing. More than 5,000 people are actively working at the construction sites, and over 5,600 units of equipment are in operation. The main focus is on tunnel excavation, earthworks, and bridge construction, with more than 3.5 million cubic meters of earthworks completed.
The Minister particularly emphasized the importance of adhering to all safety norms and environmental standards during the implementation of this project.
It was also noted that the government will provide the necessary conditions, support, and coordination for the successful execution of the project.
