A modern dairy plant will be built in the Chuy region.
The main task of the new plant is to reduce dependence on imports and provide the Kyrgyz market with quality dairy products at more competitive prices. It is projected that local products will be, on average, 30% cheaper than imported ones.
The enterprise will operate on a full cycle, with a monthly production capacity of up to 1,000 tons of milk and 100 tons of cream. The plant is expected to start operating in August of this year, and its products will be able to cover up to 25% of the country's needs.
The total budget for the project is approximately 10 million US dollars, of which more than 5.5 million dollars have been allocated by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
Modern technological lines will be installed in production, allowing for an increase in the shelf life of pasteurized milk from 18 to 28 days. Tetra Pak packaging will ensure a shelf life of ultra-pasteurized products for up to nine months, creating additional opportunities for export.
The project will also have a positive impact on the agricultural sector: up to 1,000 farms from the Chui region will supply raw materials, and about 70 jobs will be created at the new plant.
This initiative fully aligns with the priorities of the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, which aims to develop the processing industry and increase the country's export potential.
