During the visit, the minister was informed that the breeding biolaboratory of the farm is engaged in work aimed at improving the genetic characteristics of cattle (beef and dairy) as well as enhancing the efficiency of artificial insemination. In addition, the supply of liquid nitrogen for technical inseminators in various regions is being ensured.
“We need to shift from quantitative indicators to qualitative ones. This way, we will be able to obtain breeding material from genetically purebred animals. This is one of the priority areas today,” the minister noted.
