The Minister of Agriculture inspected a leading farm in Suzak
As part of his working trip to the Jalal-Abad region, Erlis Akunbekov, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, visited the breeding farm "Toygonbay Ata," located in the village of Kyzyl-Senir. During the visit, the minister assessed the effectiveness of the enterprise, which specializes in breeding high-yield Holstein-Friesian cattle.

Salavat Toygonbaev, the head of the farm, reported a significant increase in the number of dairy cows, which has grown from 22 to 45 heads over two years. Each cow produces an average of 28–30 liters of milk per day, totaling about 900 liters, sold at a price of 40 soms per liter. In May 2025, the farm received official breeding status thanks to an order from the relevant ministry.

Additionally, the enterprise provides jobs for four local residents. To improve the feed base, this year the Department of Agriculture of the Suzak District allocated 22 hectares of land, including both irrigated and rain-fed plots.

During the meeting, the farmer raised the issue of a lack of irrigation water. Erlis Akunbekov instructed local authorities to promptly resolve this issue, noting that the state will continue to provide comprehensive support for successful livestock projects.
