Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov made a working trip to the Jalal-Abad region, where he got acquainted with the work of the breeding farm "Toigonbay Ata," located in the village of Kyzyl-Senir in the Suzak district.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the farm, under the leadership of Salavaty Toigonbaeva, increased its livestock in 2023 by importing 22 Holstein cows of the dairy breed. Currently, the total number of cows has reached 45, and the daily milk production volume is 850–900 liters. On average, one cow produces 28–30 liters of milk per day, with 1 liter sold at a price of 40 soms.
Based on the ministry's order dated May 15, 2025, No. 05/2-17/109, the breeding farm "Toigonbay Ata" received certificate No. 50 and the status of "Farmer Breeding Farm" for breeding Holstein-Friesian cattle.
This farm is located on the Kok-Bulak site in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region and currently provides jobs for 4 people. This year, the Department of Agriculture of the Suzak district allocated 13 hectares of irrigated and 9 hectares of rainfed land to the farm.
During the meeting, the farmer pointed out problems with water supply. The minister, in turn, instructed local authorities to address this issue and emphasized the importance of supporting the development of the farm.
