At the last meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the bill "On Breeding in Livestock of the Kyrgyz Republic" was approved in the third reading.
The initiator of this bill was the Cabinet of Ministers.

The information about the bill was presented by the chairman of the committee on agrarian policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection, Bakyt Tentishev.

The bill aims to improve the legislative framework in the field of breeding livestock. Its main goal is to create conditions for the further development of this sector and to develop subordinate legislation that will regulate breeding activities in the country, eliminating existing gaps in the legislation.

In addition, the Jogorku Kenesh also reviewed and approved the bill "On Geodesy, Cartography, and Spatial Data" in the second reading.

This bill was also initiated by the Cabinet of Ministers. It introduces new terms such as "geoinformation systems" and "geoinformation technologies," and clarifies the powers of state and local authorities. The document stipulates the mandatory use of spatial data and materials from the state fund of spatial data, as well as information from the unified electronic cartographic base when conducting cartographic activities for the needs of state authorities and local self-government.
