Agricultural Machinery of Kyrgyzstan is 84% Ready for Spring Field Work
Currently, there are over 92,000 units of agricultural machinery registered in the country, including 22,330 tractors, 11,598 plows, 3,379 seeders, 15,645 harrows, 813 fertilizer spreaders, 1,667 canal diggers, 1,944 graders, and 9,162 tractor trailers, as well as other specialized equipment.
In preparation for the spring sowing campaign, repair work has been carried out in various regions of the republic. As a result, the current readiness level of agricultural machinery across the country is 84%.
Out of the total number of tractors—22,330—18,465 units are ready for fieldwork, which is equivalent to 83%. In addition, the readiness of plows is 84%, seeders 81%, harrows 85%, fertilizer spreaders 87%, canal diggers 84%, graders 85%, and tractor trailers 86%.
Overall, it is planned to engage more than 8,000 plowing units and over 3,000 seeding complexes in spring fieldwork across the regions.
