The negotiations between the official delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Romania regarding the conclusion of the Agreement on the Elimination of Double Taxation took place in Bucharest from February 23 to 26, 2026. This information was provided by the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan.
During the discussions, the participants thoroughly examined all provisions of the draft agreement and, as a result, reached a principled agreement on the text of the document.
The signing of the agreement is planned after the completion of all necessary procedures in both countries.
The agreement aims to eliminate double taxation, create attractive conditions for foreign investments, protect residents of both countries from discriminatory taxation, and develop information exchange between the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Romania.
