During the negotiations held in Bucharest, the official delegations of both countries discussed the content of the agreement aimed at eliminating double taxation in the area of income tax and preventing tax evasion. The Ministry confirmed that the document has been fundamentally agreed upon.
The signing of the agreement is expected after the completion of all necessary internal procedures required by the legislation of each country.
This agreement will also include the protection of residents of one state from discriminatory taxation in the other country, measures to combat tax evasion and abuses, as well as the development of information exchange between the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Romania.
