According to him, from 2021 to 2025, the total revenue from "Kumtor's" activities will exceed 440 billion soms. Of this, more than 100 billion soms has been received in the budget in the form of taxes and other mandatory payments. Over the past four years, the state has also received dividends amounting to more than 38 billion soms.
As the president noted, from 1994 to 2021, Kyrgyzstan received about $100 million in dividends from "Kumtor."Japarov emphasized that while previously only 1 ton of the 410 tons of gold mined benefited the country, now "Kumtor" has become a reliable source of budget revenues that supports social programs and infrastructure projects.
