The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has decided to impose a temporary ban on the export of mineral fertilizers outside the borders of the Eurasian Economic Union. This measure will be in effect for six months and will come into force in five days.

The ban applies to all types of mineral fertilizers, except for those imported from third countries that do not meet quality standards. Exceptions are also provided for humanitarian aid supplies, which will be carried out at the direction of the government.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce must notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission of the new ban within three days. A similar notification will be sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Executive Committee of the CIS.

The resolution that was previously in effect since March 3, 2025, will now be rendered invalid.
