Kyrgyzstan Temporarily Bans Export of Mineral Fertilizers Outside the EAEU

- A temporary 6-month ban on the export of mineral fertilizers outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union has been introduced in the Kyrgyz Republic. Exceptions are made for cases of customs transit and humanitarian aid provided by the government.

This decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

According to the official statement, the ban does not apply to mineral fertilizers that were previously imported from third countries and do not meet established quality standards.

Government agencies have been instructed to take measures to combat the illegal export of certain types of mineral fertilizers.
