Agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan conquer the markets of more than 80 countries around the world


At the "Agrodialog" forum, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, presented impressive achievements of the agricultural sector and outlined ambitious plans for its industrialization. According to forecasts, by the end of 2025, the volume of agricultural production in the country will reach 459.7 billion soms, which is 62.9 billion soms more than the previous year.

Significant growth is observed in the processing industry, where the volume of production has reached 104.7 billion soms, demonstrating a growth rate of 130.1%. Currently, Kyrgyzstan successfully exports over 60 types of agricultural products to 80 countries, meeting domestic needs in 6 out of 9 important categories of food.

As a strategic goal, the government aims to significantly increase the level of deep processing of raw materials. If this figure currently stands at about 7%, it is planned to raise it to 25% by 2030, and to 50% by 2040. As part of this strategy, it is planned to launch 385 new processing enterprises by 2030, 75 of which will start operating as early as 2026.

The development of the sector will be based on strengthening the material and technical base in seed production and breeding livestock, implementing agro-clusters, and effectively using preferential loans. Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that a scientific approach and the creation of a continuous education system for farmers will be key priorities, allowing the agricultural sector to transform into a high-tech and modern branch of the economy.
