











As a result of a joint inspection by the employees of the State Tax Service and representatives of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Manas, a significant amount of tobacco products without excise stamps was discovered at the central market. According to information from the press service of the State Tax Service, during the inspection, 9,695 packs of tobacco were found, valued at 1,163,400 soms. Additionally, 24 packages of illegal electronic cigarettes and 33 units of a substance resembling snus were also discovered.
The seized goods were processed in accordance with the law, and the case materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
The State Tax Service reminded that obstructing the actions of officials during tax control entails legal responsibility.
In the case of selling up to 200 units of excise goods without excise stamps, a fine of 100,000 soms is imposed. If the quantity exceeds 200 units, this may lead to criminal liability, including imprisonment for up to 7 years.
