According to data from the National Statistical Committee, the country's gross domestic product in January 2026 reached 125.7 billion soms, which is 9% higher compared to the same month of the previous year.
The GDP growth was driven by increases in the volumes of commodity production, services, and net taxes on products. In particular, the growth rates of commodity production in January increased by 11.8%, services by 8.9%, and net taxes on products rose by 5.4%.
The structure of GDP shows that the largest share, namely 52.3%, was made up of services; however, this figure is 2 percentage points lower than in January of last year. At the same time, the share of commodity production increased by 4.2 percentage points, reaching 30.7%.
Furthermore, the share of industry increased by 4.3 percentage points, and construction by 0.3 percentage points. In contrast, the share of agriculture decreased by 0.4 percentage points.
