The Economy of Kyrgyzstan: What Ensured GDP Growth in 2025?
According to the provided data, GDP at current prices increased from 1 trillion 582.8 billion soms in 2024 to 1 trillion 976.4 billion soms in 2025. The growth rate was 111.1% compared to the same period last year.
The volume of goods production during the period reached 681 billion soms, which is higher than the 2024 figure of 527.4 billion soms. The growth rate in goods production slowed to 110.9%, while in 2024 it was 112.7%.
The service sector also demonstrated growth, increasing to 1 trillion 11.6 billion soms (in 2024 — 828 billion soms). The growth rate of the service sector in 2025 was 110.9%. In particular, market services grew to 795.6 billion soms, while non-market services increased to 216 billion soms.
Net tax revenues on products (taking subsidies into account) rose from 227.3 billion soms to 283.7 billion soms. The growth rate of this indicator was 112.1%, which exceeds the dynamics of both goods production and the service sector.
Thus, in 2025, the main factors contributing to the country's economic growth were the expansion of production capacities, the increase in the service sector, and the growth of tax revenues.
